You remember Mount Sinai? The people trembled. Thunder, fire, smoke — even Moses said, ‘I’m terrified!’ (Hebrews 12:18–21). They couldn’t even touch the mountain. God’s holiness was untouchable.”
“But Hebrews says we don’t stand at Sinai anymore. Through Jesus, we’ve come to Mount Zion — God’s heavenly kingdom that cannot be shaken (Hebrews 12:28). The untouchable God has touched us with grace.”
“So how should we live? With gratitude, reverence, and awe. Gratitude because God gave us a kingdom we didn’t earn. Reverence because He is still a consuming fire. Awe because His untouchable holiness welcomed us in Jesus.
Remember this today: God’s love cannot be shaken… Can’t touch this!”
Thought For The Week: We serve a holy God whose kingdom cannot be shaken. Let’s live with gratitude, reverence, and awe.
