There’s this moment in Genesis 32 where Jacob spends the whole night wrestling—body, mind, and soul. He’s wrestling with fear, with his past, with the unknown future… and ultimately he realizes he’s wrestling with God Himself.
And here’s the hope: God doesn’t walk away. He engages. He stays in the struggle. And Jacob comes out blessed—not because he was strong, but because he held on. Some of us are in that kind of night right now.
You’re wrestling with grief, decisions, identity, exhaustion… and you’re wondering where God is. Scripture says He’s right there in it with you.
He may not remove the struggle, but He will transform you through it.
And sometimes the limp you walk away with becomes the reminder that grace carried you farther than your strength ever could.
So today, don’t let go. Hold on to the God who holds on to you. Join us at 10 o’clock this Sunday at Pleasant View United Methodist Church, as Larry Newton comes to tell us more.
