Scripture: Romans 5:1-11

Have you ever felt like you had to earn God's love? The amazing truth of Scripture is just the opposite. Romans 5 tells us that "While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Before we ever prayed, before we ever believed, before we ever cleaned up our lives God was already moving toward us.
In Hosea, we see God saying, "I taught Ephraim to walk." Like a loving parent holding a toddler's hands, God was guiding us before we even knew who He was. That's what John Wesley called prevenient grace; God's grace that goes ahead of us.
Maybe you've been wondering if you're worthy enough for God. The wonderful news is that our worth is found in God’s grace and love, poured out to us through His Son, Jesus Christ.
This week, recognize where God's grace is waiting for you.
You may discover God’s been walking beside you much longer than you realized.
