Have you ever noticed that Joseph never says a single word in the Christmas story?

In Matthew 1, Joseph is confused, afraid, and facing a situation he never planned for.

And that’s exactly where God meets him.

An angel says, “Do not be afraid.” Not after things make sense. Not after the problem is solved. But right there in the uncertainty.

Joseph gets up and does what God asks.

No speeches. No explanations. Just faith expressed through obedience.

God doesn’t wait for our lives to be neat and predictable. God steps into the mess and walks with us through it.
