Have you ever wondered why doing the right thing is sometimes harder than doing the wrong thing?
Psalm 37 begins with a surprising command, “Do not fret… do not be envious.” Why? Because anxiety and envy quietly steal our peace.
The psalmist isn’t pretending the world is fair. He’s reminding us that what looks powerful today is temporary. But God’s faithfulness is not.
“Trust in the Lord, and do good. Commit your way to the Lord. Be still before the Lord, and wait patiently.”
Trusting God doesn’t mean ignoring reality. It means refusing to let fear or comparison run your life.
So today, instead of worrying about the future, instead of envying others, choose trust.
God sees. God knows. God is faithful.
