Have you ever been walking through life and not even realized that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was right there with you? In Luke 24, two disciples are walking a long, dusty road; confused, discouraged, and trying to make sense of everything that had happened. And then Jesus shows up. He walks with them. He listens. He speaks truth into their grief and confusion. They don’t recognize Him at first.
How many times has Jesus been walking beside us in our grief, confusion, questions, doubts, and even our everyday conversations, and we just didn’t see Him?
God always invites us to walk and talk with His Son, Jesus Christ; to recognize His presence in our daily lives and to hear Him calling us by name. Won’t you come and walk the road of life in faith? Won’t you reach out to God and let the Holy Spirit bring you hope, comfort, and new life? Come to God in prayer and discover how Jesus Christ is already closer than you think.
