Have you ever lived through a season you thought would never end? That’s where Noah was. The rain fell, the flood came, and all he could do was wait, watch, and trust God. Then one day, the dove returned with an olive leaf. Just a leaf. Just a small sign that relief was at hand.
After the flood, God made a covenant and placed a rainbow in the sky as a sign of mercy. Judgment, despair, and death do not get the last word. God’s mercy does. So if you are in a hard season right now, hold on. Keep watching. Keep trusting. The ground won’t stay covered forever. After every storm, God’s mercy prevails.
