Have you ever tried to change something about yourself, only to fall back into the same habits?

The good news is that God’s grace does more than forgive us. God’s grace transforms us.

In Ezekiel 36, God promises, “A new heart I will give you, and a new spirit I will put within you.” Then, in Romans 12, Paul tells us to be transformed by the renewing of our minds.

This is sanctifying grace: God patiently working within us, softening what has become hard, renewing the way we think, and teaching us to love like Jesus.

This transformation is not about pretending to be perfect. It is about becoming mature in love. It happens as we pray, worship, study Scripture, serve others, and allow trusted Christian friends to walk beside us.

Today, ask God one honest question: “Lord, what is the next room in my heart that you want to enter?”

God is not finished with you. Grace is still at work.
